Geometric Prints

The prints below have been developed from drawings of high rise buildings. The bottom print is more organised in terms of the placement of each individual shape, so does not look as random as previous repeats developed using this imagery. The image immediately below is a very small section of the repeat that has been increased in scale. I think the colours are effective here and plan to continue using this palette in future prints.

Further Drawing

I have drawn a number of architectural details similar to the example below and intend to work them into a repeat. I envisage the final design to be suitable for wallpaper or furnishing fabric. The drawing below is very similar to some produced before christmas, but I have re worked them with a less harsh colour palette and added more colour fills.

Further Parisian Print Development

A possible colour way and composition for some of my stonework drawings:

The colours utilised in this print has been altered since an earlier post. This design has been printed onto silk twill fabric. The grey against brighter pops of mustard keeps the design looking fairly subtle.

A repeat developed through combining separate drawings of Parisian cafe's.

Tuileries garden inspired designs

This set of compositions was inspired by a Sunday morning spent at the Tuileries gardens in Paris. I am keen to explore working with some imagery that contrasts with my architectural drawings and designs.
