Sarah Maycock

It's been a while since I have added a post here on my blogspot. September saw me visit London a couple of times both for work and pleasure and I have added a fair few posts about my findings here. I came across Sarah Maycock's work whilst browsing some blogs, and I think the bear ink painting in particular is just stunning. It would make such a bold statement in a room, I'd love to have it for myself! Having said that, the fox is pretty special too. You can view moe of Sarah's work by visiting her website here.

Lisa Stickley-Levis

I was shocked to discover randomly online yesterday that Lisa Stickley had walked away from her company last year. Her 'magnificently grand jug' stands tall on the book case in my room, just one of many of her products that I loved.

I came across her Tumblr which can be seen here and it has many a lovely photo on it and some illustrations I have inserted below. There is so much British/olympic/jubilee imagery around at the moment, and these olympic inspired designs from Lisa are by far my faves. They are quirky as you like, use highly original colour schemes, and her drawing style is just lovely. Lisa is launching a new business called 'Hillside Way' and I am so excited to see what it has to offer.
